Memories of the Dark

'...at least once a month. And everything in the dream happens exactly the same. That guy, who I guess is really important to me - but at the same time is basically our Wickerman - disappears into the darkness. Is he my brother? A good friend? Heck maybe I'm gay in the dream and he's like my husband or something. 

And of course I wake up right when he gets snatched by that...thing with all those arms & hands. It's hard to tell what It was, like it's daytime in the dream & there's a sun but the light is so weak so it might as well be night. Country night, but no stars and the sun is more like a tarnished moon that needs at least two good polishes. 

Somehow I knew Its name, think it was Round-wall, Ronda-wall..something that maybe rhymes with Tylenol? I don't even know that Wickerman dude's name but I know the name of thing that took him. How weird is that?

Oh - don't think I mentioned this before but It might've been a giant swarm of giant baby arms?...Yeah-yeah I know, the whole thing is ridiculous saying it now - but honestly thank God I've yet to wet the bed 'cause in the dream It's that [freaking] terrifying. You know how in dreams the situation is serious even if it's ridiculous in rea-- 

in this life?

It's not that big a deal, it's not a long dream. If it wasn't recurring it wouldn't even be a thing at all. Though I gotta admit for a few moments between pissing & brushing...feels like there's this hollowness to Everything. Like this is all just scenes from a TV show where you know someone half-assed the script. Not that I'd ever want that dream to be real. Heh, [freak] that.

At least...I don't think I would. Who'd want a place so horrible to be real? I mean, that wouldn't make sense at all...

You're right, I'm probably just craving a little bit of excitement. Should just try to get the number off that girl next time she comes in..."
